Records your business may already have
What data could you license?
Support cases, catalogue corrections, delivery issues and maintenance records can reveal how real work gets done. Here are examples we can explore with your business.
| Data you may already have | Potential AI use |
|---|---|
| Customer support and returnsSupport tickets, refund decisions and recorded resolutions. | Train and test support assistants that interpret a problem, apply a returns policy and propose an appropriate resolution. |
| Product and catalogue correctionsAttribute fixes, category mappings and duplicate-product corrections. | Develop tools that match products, organise catalogues and identify inconsistent or missing product information. |
| Orders and supplier decisionsProduct substitutions, stock exceptions and purchase-order matching. | Train and evaluate assistants that reconcile orders, suggest alternatives and handle purchasing exceptions. |
| Logistics and delivery exceptionsDispatch changes, shipment discrepancies and documented resolutions. | Test assistants that reconcile shipment records and recommend next steps when a delivery does not go to plan. |
| Maintenance and quality controlFault reports, repair actions, inspection results and final outcomes. | Develop troubleshooting tools and evaluate their suggestions against documented repairs and inspection outcomes. |
| Internal procedures and worked examplesCompany-authored instructions, checklists and completed business cases. | Evaluate whether an AI assistant can follow a documented process and reach an expected result. |
These are illustrative examples. Suitability depends on the records, permissions and specific buyer requirements. Dataful is currently speaking with Baltic businesses about potential pilot projects.
Have records like these?
Describe what your business keeps. No files or system access are needed for the initial review.
A clear process. No blanket access.
- 01
Describe your records
Tell us about your business, the systems you use and the types of records available. The initial enquiry does not require any files.
- 02
Review suitability and permissions
We assess potential project fit and identify questions about ownership, privacy, confidentiality and third-party restrictions.
- 03
Agree the scope and terms
Before records are shared, the relevant parties agree what is included, who may receive it, permitted uses, handling requirements and payment conditions.
- 04
Prepare the agreed material
Only approved records enter the agreed preparation and review process. Any payment follows the acceptance criteria and schedule in the contract.
An initial review is not a purchase offer. Some records or projects may not qualify.
Clear boundaries before any data moves.
A proposed project should specify what can be used, who can use it and under which conditions. Those decisions come before sharing—not afterwards.
Ask about the review process →- 1.
Defined scope
Specific sources, record types and exclusions are agreed for the project.
- 2.
Permissions and confidentiality
Privacy, confidentiality and third-party rights are reviewed before transfer. Some material may require transformation or exclusion.
- 3.
Named recipients and permitted uses
The agreement identifies authorised recipients and the allowed uses, including any training, evaluation or onward-licensing rights.
- 4.
Access, processing and retention
Access methods, processing locations and retention requirements are documented before a project proceeds.
- 5.
Acceptance and payment
Deliverables, acceptance criteria and payment conditions are agreed in writing.
Frequently asked questions
Who could buy this type of data?
Potential buyers include AI developers and research organisations. A review does not mean a buyer has been found. Any proposed recipient and permitted use must be agreed before licensing.
How much could our company earn?
There is no fixed payout. A commercial proposal depends on project requirements, usable records, permissions, preparation work and buyer acceptance. Dataful does not provide an automatic valuation.
Do we need to give Dataful access to our systems?
Not for the initial review. Any later export or access method would be separately scoped and agreed. Please do not send records or login credentials through this website.
What about customer information and confidential material?
These require specific review before a project proceeds. Depending on the records, material may need to be excluded or transformed, or the project may not be suitable.
Are we selling our entire database?
No. The proposed service concerns selected records and defined licence rights—not unrestricted access to your business systems. Any exclusivity or restrictions must be stated in the agreement.
How much work would this involve?
The initial conversation focuses on the records and systems you already have. The work required for a project depends on access, record quality and legal review. Responsibilities are agreed before proceeding.
Can we change our mind?
Submitting an enquiry creates no commitment to license data. After an agreement is signed, withdrawal, termination and continued-use rights depend on its terms. Do not assume that deleting source files reverses prior model training.
Find out whether your records could be a fit.
Tell us a little about your business. We’ll start with a conversation about suitability—not a request for your files.
